To add a scale of likeness for a restaurant
To be able to add a degree of likeness. I do not love all the restaurants I bookmark I merely like some and don't want them to be in the same category as the others.
128 votesThank you to everyone for weighing in on this suggestion!
After much consideration, we think it best to avoid yet another service that has its own star ratings, opting instead to rely on existing systems for this. In version 3, we have now integrated Yelp ratings for many restaurants.
Additionally, we realized that “want to try” and “love” is a false dichotomy, and have therefore added a 3rd option of simply “tried”. We hope this will provide the desired granularity and solve the primary pain point behind this suggestion.

Bring back "Near Me"
Positively the most useful feature in the old app was the list ordered by proximity. Now I have to scroll down to my city in alphabetical order (I'm usually in T for Toronto!), and even once I'm down there, the places are in alphabetical order now. The main question I used to use the app to answer was: Which of my favourite places are near me now? The map sort of works but it's not half as useful when deciding where to eat.

Allow metric and imperial units
I'm from New Zealand. Here in the future we use metric. What the hell is a foot?!

Have an option like "been there" that is neither "want to try" nor "love"
If I go to a place and it was just OK, I still want to keep the bookmark.

Show more than 50 tag matches
If you search by a tag, it only shows 50 matches.
Is it possible to have an option to "See 50 more", as it would be good to build up a view of more than 50 options on the map view.
Thanks

add a way to search the database of a neighborhood regardless of what neighborhood you are currently in
Let's say I'm having lunch with a friend in Studio City and she tells me about a restaurant in Beverly Hills that I should go to. Using my iPhone I try searching for the restaurant in the matchbook data base so that I can bookmark it. But because I am in a different neighborhood than the restaurant I am searching for it does not show up in the matching places database

Ability to share my list with friends
Any chance you guys are working on a way to share my list that I've created with my friends via the app? Would love this feature!

Allow users to create and save their own tags
Rather than having to select or find premade tags for places, allow users to input their own that they may find useful

Map filters to show only places I want to go
It would be nice to be able to show only the places I want to go on the map. With so many restaurants it would be nice to have a little more control on what I can see.

Sort by city
Hi - would love to be able to sort by city. I often keep lists of restaurants I want to try in different cities, including my own (Washington, DC). Right now you can only sort by neighborhood, which is great if I'm only bookmarking restaurants in one city. But now, I have restaurants in DC, LA, NY and Philly and they're all displayed in the same page. Love the app, but would love it even more if that option was available. Thanks!

Sort by neighborhood option should come after all entries are grouped by state
Otherwise all entries for different states are all mixed in with each other.

Enable correction of wrong database entries
I just found an entry I would like to bookmark. The adress is not included, so I added a new place. Unfortunately, my complete entry is always overruled by the incomplete one which was there before.
