Push notification when i am near a want-to-try place
It would be cool to get a notification from the app when im driving by a place i wanted to try

allow me to enter places online that will appear on my phone-- it's a pain to type in all the inforamtion on the phone.
Allow me to enter in the information for the app on my computer-- it's a pain to type all the information on the phone (particularly if you are entering in a number of places to try in a city that you are not currently in). Ideally that information will then be readily available on my phone.

Add a web app
I'd love a very simple web app version of the iPhone app so that when I'm reading about new places on my computer I don't have to go find my phone. Also useful to look at the map on a larger screen.

Create an option to group a restaurant with multiple locations

Have a city view!
Have a proper city view instead of the neighbourhood view in the sort options. The city names should be collapsible so I can see all my cities at a glance and then clicking on the city name should expand the list to show the places inside. There should be a separate 'near me' option which should include all places in your current city grouped in neighbourhoods.

Improve search function
I wish you could search by more than one tag. For example, if I'm looking for a place to take a client for lunch i would want to search by "nice" + "lunch" or "expensive" + "lunch."
Secondly, I wish you could sort the search by neighborhood. If i search by "bar," i would like to filter by neighborhood rather than just see the whole list of all the bars I have bookmarked.

Add Friends.
Allow users to invite friends and view each others lists. Plus separate lists of want to try and have tried would be cool. Love the app.

Add button/option to google for information on a place
Some of the entries lack certain information and other than the already suggested edit-function to add missing details, it would be very useful to have a button or option to quickly google (my preference, any other search engine would probably do the job just as well) for further information on the place.

See where other matchbook users have enjoyed
I want to be able to add places to my matchbook where other users have loved! If I could look at restaurants/bars in a neighborhood and see if other users have enjoyed them, it will be helpful to decide restaurants I would also love to try.

Be able to bookmark multiple search results at one time
For example, when I search "Momofuku" in NYC, about 12 results came up. I wanted to bookmark about 10 of those but it seems I'm only able to bookmark one at a time and then have to start the whole search process over to bookmark each subsequent location.

Allow to create group/reminder lists
I tend to lose track of all the different places I'd like to go to and the ability to somehow organize the places marked as 'want to go' would be fantastic.
I'm thinking of a feature that allows users to create lists on certain topics. For example a list for 'cocktail bars to visit next week/month' or 'suggestions for friends birthday'.
These lists would be perfect reminders and help to keep track of places to go to.Also, crossing things off lists just feels amazing ;)
